Regionals in Las Vegas

Not long after returning home from Santa Barbara (Sunday) we left for Las Vegas (Monday). We spent long hours at the tennis courts at UNLV for our regional tournament. We would get there around 7 am to warm up for the first matches and leave around 8:30 pm. The girls were great and supported everyone until we were done each day.

Santa Barbara

Our third tournament of the pre-season was held down in Santa Barbara, CA. We had a great time and played some great tennis while enjoying this beachside town. Megan Price and Callie Craig captured their second doubles title here at this tournament.

After we flew into LA, we stopped by the grove for lunch and ran into Mario Lopez while they were filming Extra the tv show. He is a BYU tennis fan :)

Berkeley Invitational

For our first Fall match on the road the team went to Berkeley, CA for the Berkeley Invitational. It was a great trip and on the last night there we ventures into San Francisco for dinner and walking around.

Stadium court... Callie and Megan played doubles against the #1 team in the country and almost beat them... it ended up being 6-8.

BYU Invitational Tournament

On the second week of September we kicked off our pre-season with our BYU Invitational tournament. It was great to get straight into match play and see all of the girls competing on the court. In the end Andie Young made it to the finals of flight B... Callie Craig won the singles title of flight A... Megan Price and Callie Craig won the doubles title!
